Don Choy, floriculturist from the Kilbourn Park Organic Greenhouse, stops by with some samples of the plants that will be available at their annual plant sale on May 17 and 18. Dave Coulter of Osage, Inc. explains some history and benefits of hedgerows that used to be planted on farms here and in Great Britain and how they can still be extremely useful as havens for biodiversity. Cathy McGlynn of the NIIPP promotes Illinois Invasive Species Awareness Month and some plants that folks should not welcome into their gardens and parks.
